Samsung shows off ‘brand new shape’ for Z Fold 8 in Spider-Man teaser

The video also shows Spider-Man 3D printing a fully functional Galaxy Z Flip 8.

Samsung gave a sneak peek of the “brand new shape” for its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 in a new teaser for Spider-Man: Brand New Day . The video includes a few shots of Spidey taking a foldable phone off a 3D printer and opening it book-style, but each shot is heavily obscured by lens flares. This is likely the redesigned Galaxy Z Fold 8 , which is rumored to have a wider, passport-like shape.
Apple is also rumored to be readying a foldable iPhone with a similar design , which could launch later this year. Samsung’s expected to announce the wider Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the rest of its new lineup of devices, at a Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22nd.
As 9to5Google reports, the Spider-Man teaser also appears to include the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. These are all shown clearly without any of the cinematic lens flares, but they’re difficult to tell apart from Samsung’s current slate of devices — the flip phone shown in the teaser appears identical to the current Z Flip 7 .
