Spotify will let you fine-tune your weekly Release Radar playlist

It can focus on a specific genre, help you find new artists, and more.


Spotify also says it’s making tweaks to the algorithm to serve up “more personalized recommendations,” along with a new look featuring updated cover and header art.
This is just the latest in a number of recent changes Spotify has made to its flagship playlists and music discovery features. That includes launching new release recommendations chosen by the editorial staff , which seemed to be a response to a growing revolt against our increasingly algorithmically governed lives.
